Overlook respects intellectual property rights. This page explains our role, how we handle copyright claims, and how rights holders can reach us.
We do not store content
Overlook does not host, upload, or store any movies, TV shows, or other audiovisual content on our servers. We do not maintain copies of copyrighted works in any form.
Our site is a discovery interface that displays metadata (titles, descriptions, posters, and similar information) sourced from third-party services such as TMDB. When you choose to watch something, playback is provided by external sources — not by Overlook.
Because we do not store or control the underlying media files, we cannot remove content from third-party hosts. We can, however, review requests related to pages or references on Overlook itself.
Filing a DMCA notice
If you believe material accessible through Overlook infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it on Overlook (e.g. URL)
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
Send notices to: dmca@overlook.cx
Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification that meets the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Please include the same contact details and send it to the email above.
Repeat infringers
Where applicable, we may terminate access for users who are repeat infringers of copyright or related rights.
