Oh, how quaint—a space station thriller where strange things happen, and the crew must sniff out an "impostor." A concept as old as space opera itself, yet one that stubbornly refuses to vanish from the annals of sci-fi mediocrity. The film, helmed by _Gabriel_ (a director who, let's face it, isn't exactly redefining cinema), offers a passable diversion for those with nothing better to do. The crew, composed of Leonardo, Gabriel, Vítor, Luis, Bruno, and Mateus, struggles to give their characters any depth beyond the usual "space paranoia" tropes. Leonardo is predictably stoic, Gabriel (clearly indulging in some narcissism by naming a character after himself) delivers a performance that’s serviceable at best, and the rest—well, they blend into the recycled metal walls of the station, don't they? But here's where I'll give it the faintest whiff of praise: the tension. Yes, for all its clichés, the film does manage to sustain a moderate level of suspense, enough to make you mildly curious about who the impostor might be. The pacing is tolerable, and the atmosphere aboard the station—a cold, desolate metallic tomb floating in the void—works decently well. The visual design, though unremarkable, does its job adequately, and the minimalist score adds a layer of unease. It's not groundbreaking. It won't be remembered. But it isn't entirely insufferable either. For those with exceedingly low standards or a penchant for derivative space dramas, _Strange Things Happen on a Space Station_ might provide just enough intrigue to keep one awake—barely.
