A Trout and the Last Waltz

Born in rivers, yamame trout journey to the sea and return as cherry salmon, connecting forests, rivers, and coastal communities. This documentary explores how dams, abandoned forests, and renewable energy development have disrupted these natural cycles, examining what economic progress has cost the environment and the cultures shaped by it.
