The turn is the best part of _Unlocked_, and it was 100% revealed in the trailers. With a director as prolific Michael Apted at the helm, somebody who has been directing movies for over 50 years, you could be forgiven for thinking we might be in for something a little less middle of the road, but middle of the road is exactly what _Unlocked_ delivers. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._

'Unlocked' comes out better than you might expect. I didn't anticipate much from this 2017 film, but in truth it produces a pretty entertaining 90 or so minutes - helped a lot by its relatively stacked cast list. Noomi Rapace is ace throughout, while Orlando Bloom is a noteworthy plus too. Toni Collette, John Malkovich and Michael Douglas aren't in it as much but are positives. The story isn't anything all that memorable, I kinda forgot about one (real world similar) branch of the plot until it returns onscreen, though it is portrayed well enough by those above and it is paced astutely. I'd happily rewatch this, to be honest.
