**Erotic circus** The circus is about to close its doors. The public has lost interest in acrobatics and animals in favor of the pornographic films that now flood theaters worldwide. So desperate acrobats, clowns, and lion tamers-all real circus performers-decide to strip naked during their acts, using live eroticism to survive. Fueled by the passion they display in public, their performances also ignite their desires in the privacy of their caravans, leading to a closer and more passionate intimacy afterward, free from inhibitions and restraint. What a strange and fascinating (documentary) film. According to IMDb, it's categorized as a "documentary", and its original runtime is considerably longer (105 minutes) than the commercial version, as it include zoophilic scenes (taking advantage of the circus environment), animals copulating, and even the violent reenactment of a famous gang rape of a young woman. It also included a series of interviews with the actresses at the end, offering their perspectives on the circus world and sexuality in general. This is why the film came to be considered a "documentary." Well, all of this was removed by the Danish Censorship Board in 1975, citing "indecency." Nevertheless, remains a rare gem only for very concrete people.
