Although the film promises intense end-of-world drama, much of it leans heavily into personal dialogues, slightly reducing the sense of urgency; however, the cinematography, sound, and music effectively support the atmosphere. A standout emotional moment occurs when Chen Mu reads a letter from his missing parents, reminding viewers of the human cost in times of crisis and the fragility of civilization.
