The Assent
Synopsis
After a series of disturbing supernatural events in his home, Joel a young single father, comes to suspect that his young son may be possessed. Soon Joel receives a visit from Father Lambert, a controversial exorcist in town whose last patient died during his treatment. As increasing chilling occurrences begin to unfold, the priest informs a resistant Joel that unless he can successfully perform an exorcism, the devil will soon take full control of his boy.

From TMDB usersWe have seen a lot of exorcism movies, a thousands of them and this one doesn't deliver anything special. It's one of the copy of those copycat movies. And besides that, at least some of those copycat movies were scary, this one lacks even that. It's extremely slow and boring. They also abused chromatic aberration effect and used it with excessive amount. It's so strong and so often in here that I had a hard time to watch this movie at all.
