Comedy about two couples on holiday in Spain
The two couples go to see a bullfight to see El Macho in action. David is fascinated, but the fight doesn't live up to his expectations. Then Amy decides to step into the ring on her own account.
David is carried away by the throb of guitars, the drone of the cicadas, the scent of the bougainvillea, but most of all by Linda.
The couples decide to take a trip into the mountains.
Amy's suspicions are further aroused by David and Linda's midnight swim. Robert also suspects that a romance is in the air.
Amy finally sees evidence of David and Linda's affair.
Linda and David decide to leave - together.
