Frank needs a job and a place to stay and his uncle Dave makes him a deal ... he can live at the Pit as long as he's willing to be superintendent. Frank gets Dave to listen to Wade's band, but Dave says he'll only sign them without Frank as a songwriter. Jan tries to study for the LSAT but a mouse has invaded their apartment.

Teena wants back in just as Frank and Annie decide to try again. Mack takes Jan on a trip to the neighbourhood where he grew up.

Stuart proposes a plan to avoid deportation to the US. Frank deals with a plumbing problem, and attempts to re-establish his relationship with Annie.
