Masterpieces Performed by NHK Symphony Orchestra

The orchestra has given Blomstedt the title of "Honorary Conductor Laureate" to show respect and love.

Fabio Luisi from Genoa, Italy conducted this performance of the final symphony from Brahms's Romantic period. The fourth movement exudes the composer's melancholy in his final years, invoking a Baroque musical theme. Luisi's direction heightens the intensity.
