Toi Time

Meet Tama, Māia, Jojo, Buzz and their whānau Aunty Anika, Wolfy, Oma and Mōhio as they learn about numbers.

The Toi Time whānau learn that the sky is kahurangi, the grass is kikorangi and the sun is kōwhai. Aunty Anika sings about ngā tae o te uenuku - colours of the rainbow and Māia finds all sorts of beautiful colours in nature.

Jojo, Māia and Tama find out about Tamanuiterā and Aunty Anika makes kai with vegetables from her māra.

Māia, Tama and Jojo spot zebras and crocodiles on safari while Aunty Anika finds animals in her room.

Tama gets a checkup from Doctor Buzz and Jojo meets a beautiful pūrerehua. We meet the Star-jam Dance Group and learn how important it is to move your tinana.

Buzz finds a new friend at the playground, Jojo makes waka rererangi and Tama, Māia & Jojo have friends around for tea.

Mōhio talks about whānau, Tama goes camping with Māia and Jojo and Oma meet a baby rāpeti.

The Toi Time whānau join a band, Buzz learns the drums and and Aunty Anika sings her favourite song.

Māia, Tama and Jojo make a train in the Mahi Toi room while they wait for the rain to stop outside, and Māia and Wolfy look for Oma in the Paw Paw patch.

The Toi Time whānau find out what letters are and how different languages use different letters. Aunty Anika shows us how important it is to tidy our room.

Buzz finds shapes at the playground while Queen Māia and Queen Jojo visit Boxingham Palace.

Jojo, Māia and Tama build a pirate ship and learn about the Moana while Buzz makes sandcastles at the beach.

Māia, Tama and Jojo make a whare kuri and Buzz brings a cute little Guinea pig to Tākaro Time.

The Toi Time whānau celebrate Oma's birthday. Aunty Anika bakes the birthday cake and Buzz makes a beautiful bunch of putiputi for Oma.

Tama sells kai at the market, Buzz shows Tama how to make burgers and Aunty Anika explains good manners at the dinner table.

Jojo makes a Taraka Hangarua and Buzz visits a transfer station to see where the recycling goes. Tama, Māia and Jojo recycle their cans, bottles, jars and lids.

The Toi Time whānau are excited about going on holiday. Māia makes a caravan to take with them and Aunty Anika sings about her Nana's farm.

Jojo builds a cardboard city and Fluffy the cat has to be rescued by the Cardboard City heroes, Officer Māia, Super Jojo and Firefighter Tama.

The wheels on the bus that Tama builds go round and round and Buzz shares his toy boats with Tama in Tākaro Time.

Tama, Māia and Jojo show off their dancing skills and Māia teaches Jojo how to spin her poi.
