The World's Longest Train Ride

The world's longest train journey officially begins! Today, the first day of this trip, we have travelled from Lagos to Vigo. 3 trains and more than 700km. Remember that there will be a daily video of this gigantic adventure, I hope you enjoy it!

Second day of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. Today we left Vigo and arrived in Barcelona. We have a total of 5 trains and 1900 km approximately. We continue the adventure!

Third day of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. Today we left Barcelona and arrived in Paris. We have traveled a total of 6 trains and approximately 3,000 km.

Fourth day of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. Today we left Paris, and arrived in Warsaw, taking three trains. We have taken a total of 9 trains and approximately 4,800 km.

Fifth day of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. Today we left Warsaw, and arrived in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania, taking two trains. We have taken a total of 11 trains and approximately 5,400 km.

Sixth day of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. Today we left Vilnius, and arrived in Riga, taking two trains. We have taken a total of 13 trains and approximately 5,800 km.

Seventh day of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. Today we left Riga, and arrived in Tallinn, taking two trains. We have taken a total of 15 trains and approximately 6,300 km.

Eighth day of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. Today we left Tallinn, and finally made it into Russia. We have been on a total of 16 trains and approximately 6,500 km.

Ninth day of this gigantic adventure of the longest train journey in the world. Today we left Ivangorod, and arrived in Moscou. We have been on a total of 18 trains and approximately 7,300 km.

Day 10 of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. Today we are in Moscow and we are not going to move because we are on one of those logistical stop days. Several things to do today in the city.

Day 11 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. Today's goal is to start the Trans-Siberian again. We have a total of 19 trains and approximately 7,800 km.

Day 12 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. We continue on the Trans-Siberian entering Asia.

Day 13 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. We are still on the Trans-Siberian but today we make a logistical stop in Novosibirsk. We have a total of 20 trains and approximately 10,700 km.

Day 14 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. We are still on the Trans-Siberian and I still have the carriage to myself. This is the first class of the Trans-Siberian. We have a total of 20 trains and 12,100 km approximately.

Day 15 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. Today we are still in Russia, but today's goal is to cross into Mongolia. We have a total of 21 trains and approximately 13,300 km.

Day 16 of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. Today we arrived in Ulaanbaatar, a city I am very fond of. We have taken a total of 21 trains and approximately 13,600 km.

Day 17 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. Today's goal is to catch a train to the border of China. We have a total of 22 trains and approximately 13,800 km.

Day 18 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. We are in Mongolia and today's goal is to enter China. We have a total of 23 trains and approximately 14,400 km.

Day 19 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. We started in Lagos and today we are about to arrive in Beijing. We have a total of 24 trains and approximately 15,200 km (9,000 miles).

Day 20 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. We are in Beijing, China and today's goal is to reach Kumming. We have a total of 25 trains and approximately 17,900 km.

Day 21 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. We are in China and today's goal is to reach Laos. We have a total of 26 trains and approximately 18,900 km.

Day 22 of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. I am in Laos and today it is time to cross into Thailand. We have a total of 28 trains and approximately 18,900 km.

Day 23 of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world. We are almost arriving in Bangkok and today's goal is to continue crossing Thailand. We have a total of 29 trains and 19,900 km (12,000 miles) approximately.

Day 24 of this gigantic adventure of the world's longest train journey. We are already on the penultimate day! We are in the south of Thailand. We have done a total of 31 trains and approximately 21,200 km.

Last day of this gigantic adventure of the longest train trip in the world, we have arrived in Singapore! A total of 34 trains and approximately 21,500 km and 15 countries crossed.
