Lorre does a recitation of "The Telltale Heart" and joins Carter in a mad scientist sketch. Edwards performs at the piano and teams with Carter for "You're Adorable."

Jackie Gleason debuts as host with Rose Marie, comic Hank Ladd, acrobat Ladd Lyon, singing DeCastro Sisters, and dancer Evelyn Farney. Gleason duets with Rose and in a sketch at a hat check counter. DeCastros sing a Latin-American number.
