Successful entrepreneur Jaka Car is surprised and shocked by the news that he is ill. His ambitious son, Gaber, spends all his time at work. Daughter Nika poses for a picture for her boyfriend Penzl. Nika, who is studying English, meets Ana during an internship at an accounting firm. The mysterious Dr. Vasya returns to Ana from a trip.

Ana and her friend Pia on their regular trips to shops and coffees. Nika resists Penzel's attempts to take their relationship to a "new level." Dr. Boštjan suggests to Jaka that she go sailing for a few days. Gaber negotiates a deal with the suspicious Istvan. Dr. Vasya disappears on one of his trips.

Jaka Car et al. Boštjan are enjoying the sailboat. Ana doesn't like to work, so she prefers to chat with Nika. He tells her that he has a successful older brother. Outside the office, Gaber encounters a corrupt official. Penzl is visited by Piksi, who was sent there by a mutual acquaintance of theirs. Ana comes home in the evening and finds herself in the apartment of an intruder.

Ana is shocked by the events of the previous evening, as she does not understand how they could have happened in the first place. Gaber searches for his father, Jaka, about business matters, but he doesn't answer his phone. Jaka et al. Boštjan meets ornithologist Tomoto in the marina. Piksi, out of love for art, poses for Penzl when he comes to visit Niko.

Penzl comforts a shocked Nika. On the advice of Dr. Boštjan decides to radically change his way of life. Jaka's ex-wife Jana calls from South Africa. Gaber visits an accounting firm on business, Nika introduces him to Ana. Dr. Vasya is recovering from his injury and is embarking on a new journey.

Employees of the Jaka's factory want to organize a celebration on the anniversary of its founding. Dr. Boštjan is concerned about Jaka's state of health. Gaber accepts the secretary's invitation for a drink. Jaša lingers longer and longer in the bathroom. Nika can't get over Penzl's enthusiasm for painting nudes.

Dr. Vasya unexpectedly returns from a trip, which angers Ana. Istvan explains to Gaber the basic lines of the plan for the deal they are preparing. Gaber tries to get information about his father's company through Ana. Nika discovers a new nude and becomes angry with Penzl. He replaces Katja in the filming of the music video, where he performs as an angel of the earth.

Nika meets an interesting rocker on the set of a music video. Gaber realizes that his secretary lied to him. Pia and Nika, in Ana's percentage, make a plan for a meeting between Ana and Gaber. Jaka surprises Maria by arriving home early and worries her. Penzl and Jaša talk about women, physics and parallel worlds.

Jaka unexpectedly meets Anna, which seems to him to be a very pleasant coincidence. Gaber and Nika plan to buy a sailboat for their father so that he can take a break from work and recharge his batteries. Gaber is excited about doing business with Istvan. Jaka decides to spend the money to revamp the firm's exterior differently.

Gaber and Istvan celebrate, as the business brings them a lot of money. Penzl is excited to paint Katja's nude. Detective Tomo finds a cunning way to get Ana's information. Jaša is upset that Lucia and Katya are spying on him. Gaber invites Ana to dinner, but his intentions are not romantic in nature.

Jaka Car's health problems are escalating, and Nika and Gaber want to get him to the hospital. Ana is surprised by Dr. Vasya that unexpectedly appears at her place. Penzl is blind and deaf to the whole world in creative ecstasy, which terrifies his roommates. Istvan warns Gaber against showing off his newfound wealth.

Pia reveals her mysterious past to Ana. Jaka comes to terms with the fact that he has to go to the hospital for a few days for tests, which makes Maria very worried. Gaber would like to know more about the people he does business with, but Istvan is silent. In Ana's absence, Dr. Vasya sneaks into her apartment for a hidden package.

At the hospital, they begin investigations, which are mainly aimed at overtired businessmen. Ana and dr. Vasya are talking about getting married. Pia is a little worried about the divorce because of her considerable wealth. Nika brings her portrait to her father at the hospital, Jaka is delighted.

Tomo reports to Gaber on the successful pursuit of Istvan. Nika asks Penzl where she could get a frame for the painting. Lucia wonders worriedly where Jaša slept. Jaka Car's health deteriorates sharply when he is unexpectedly confronted with old sins. Ana receives from dr. Vasya a gift she had long wanted.

Pia is completely confused and also jealous, as her husband is extremely charming. Ana and dr. Vasya cannot agree on plans for the future. The dean of the faculty confronts Penzl with a gruesome fact. Jaka Car is faced with the fact that he will have to make an effort for his own health. Ana and Nika go, a little for fun, a little really, to Bled.

Jaka's confession shocks and offends Ana, who is already surprised to find out who Nika's father is. Pia is getting more and more in love, even though she doesn't like it at all. Penzl is excited about portraying a "loved" Nika. Dr. Vasya, as is the old custom, unexpectedly shows up at Ana's and behaves even stranger than usual.

The failed deals sober Gaber and, indirectly, Jaka, who has to confess his old sins to his son. Katja's revolutionary idea inspires Lucia to work together, they make a strategic plan to launch a joint business. Pia is finally quite happy, and Ana is more and more confused by Dr. Vasya's actions.

With the charm of dr. Vasya easily gains the trust of the young girls, but deeply disappoints Ana. Istvan's life story portrays Jaka Car in a whole new light. Mirza thinks about the future, which puts Pia in horror and joy at the same time. Nika introduces Penzl to her father, who is surprisingly impressed.

Jaka announces the shocking news, which is a cold shower for co-workers. Ana and Pia expect something from each other that they are currently unable to give each other, which leads to a short circuit. Dr. Vasya impresses those around her with incredible work zeal. Ana has to consider whether she will help Jaka Car with his dealings with China. Jaka confronts Maria with the fact that new rules apply in the house.

A lonely Jaša is very happy about Nika's visit. Maria is appalled by the lack of order at the Cars. Penzl calls Nika with some amazing news.

Mirza calls Pia and once again completely confuses her. Jaka Car begins to get fascinated by art. The collaboration of Dr. Vasya and Gaber are getting more intense. On the whole, it seems that Dr. Vasya intervened in many lives more than some realized. Ana's fears about Dr. Vasya is finally realized?

A stranger kidnaps Gaber and demands top-secret papers as ransom. Nika and Penzl return from a beautiful vacation. When they enter the house, a surprise awaits them there. Pia meets an old acquaintance who tells her a big secret about Mirza. When Maria learns the terrible news, she is so upset that she needs an injection. Everyone is interested in where Gaber is and what happened to him.

With Pia's help, Nika helps Penzl find a new, more serious job. The postman brings Maria a bulky official envelope and the world is immediately more beautiful for her.

Bojan is shocked by his practice, and perhaps Detective Tomo can help him. Penzl and Nika are looking forward to their new job, but the question is whether Penzl will be able to transform from a bohemian artist to a businessman with a schedule. Tomo and Dimitri are looking for a trail to Dr. Vasya. Students get a new roommate.

Penzl is increasingly realizing that he is an artist and not an employee, Maria is not the most satisfied with the relationships in the Car's family, and Dr. Boštjan deals with legal matters in addition to medical matters.

The first morning without Jaka. Maria worries if everything is okay with him and Nika comforts her that nothing bad can happen to him. Katja is shocked to learn that Brane is still a medical student, as she thought he had hung the school on a peg. Gaber has a burning conscience because of the sale of the land, and when he sees how naïve Maria is, it is even harder for him ...

Gaber and Maria meet Ami, and Gaber offers to be Ami's guide in Slovenia. Mirza's nights pass in conversations with Mrs. Rosalia, although Mirza would sometimes prefer to see that the protégés would not walk around the house at night. Boštjan's sister brings the test result from the laboratory. She studies him closely, then calls Tama. It will be better to get them as soon as possible. Brane decides that he won't have any more secrets from Katja...

Tama and Boštjan are considering whether or not to report the attack on them. Tama then comes up with the idea of turning everything in their favor. Katja is getting to know Brane's daughter and is thinking about taking her with her on a horseback ride. Pia confesses to Mirza that she doesn't know if she'll be able to endure the lonely nights he's at work for much longer. Mirza comforts her that she has the next two nights off. Penzl was commissioned to create a corporate identity and completely devote himself to the work, which Nika feels the most...

Tama and Boštjan are going on vacation. Boštjan, who hasn't been on vacation for at least ten years, is visibly nervous. Nika and Ami return from a party that has completely exhausted Nika, while Tama is still full of energy. It's not clear to Nika how she manages to do this. Katja wants a serious relationship with Brane, and his daughter doesn't seem to be an obstacle to that, but Brane thinks it's too early for that. Pia points out to Penzl that by taking on a client from their agency, he violated an unwritten rule among advertisers that clients are not to betaken over. He doesn't take her warning seriously. Istvan meets Dr. Vasya, and the outcome of their meeting is anything but expected. Nika and Ami are shocked when instead of breakfast, Maria's letter is waiting on the table. They both wonder why she left, only Gaber is unaffected by her departure. Katja worries about Nuša's health, but she is even more tormented by jealousy, because she assumes that her mother, Brane's former girlfriend, has also visited her sick daughter. Penzl accuses Piksi of being incompetent and this offended her to refuse to work for him anymore, and Pia finally realizes who Mirza's mysterious fan is...

Pia seems stupid to herself for not trusting Mirza. Gaber, Ami, and Nika almost forgot that Maria was gone. All of their conversations are tied only to the big party they're going to throw in Ami's honor. Katja tearfully confesses to Brane why she doesn't want to make love to him. She went through something terrible in her childhood that she doesn't want to talk about. Nika accidentally meets Pia. She approaches worriedly, remembering their last conversation, when Pia was all over herself because of Mirza. However, she is surprised by Pia's smiling greeting. Penzl's clients are satisfied with his work, and when he and Nika return to the apartment in the evening, they are in for a big surprise...

Damian came to the realization that he and Maria had made a mistake by departing from the Car's, while with the Car's the strict form of Maria's breakfasts had already completely changed. Istvan reports to Tomo what he learned from Dr. Vasya, but he is not enthusiastic about it. Pia's director calmly admits that he ordered the beating of Penzl, which completely throws Pia off the rails. Mirza, who already had a strong friendship with Mrs. Rosalia, is shocked to learn that she has died. Meanwhile, feverish preparations for the party are underway at the Car's....

Despite the fact that it is night, Bojan leans in front of the computer and stares blankly at the screen. Then a signal alerts him that he has mail. When he looks at it, it just says "I'm sorry"...

Life with the Car's returns to normal after Maria's return. Nika wants to know what happened between Gaber and Ami, that she has been in tears all day. Brane can't help but be tormented by the worm of doubt about what Katja was doing at the party, and it silences him in a way he certainly didn't expect. Penzl offered Pia a business cooperation at the party, and the day after that, they are already having a serious conversation about it. Nika wants to learn something more from Ami anyway. Even if what happened between them and Gaber is not a reason for such an urgent departure, and meanwhile, Jaka and Anna show up at the door of the Car's villa ...

Bojan and Ana say that they got married on the trip, which of course shocks everyone who finds out. Mirza decides to finally start writing a novel, but the work is not going as well as he would like, and Piksi decides to help Lojz in his snack bar. Penzl admits to Pia that he was in a great dilemma whether to take up the advertising business, as it was clear to him that in this case he would completely neglect painting. However, for the sake of financial independence, he preferred to design. Brane successfully passed the most difficult exam, which makes Katja especially happy. Maria is hurt to find out that changes are happening and she just doesn't know if she'll be able to cope with them...

Everyone at the Car's has a hard time accepting the fact that Jaka and Ana are married, and Ana also has problems, unable to fit into the daily habits of the Car's. Mirza struggles to write the novel, while Pia explains to Nika why she decided to collaborate with Penzl. Katja is getting closer and closer to Nuša, and thanks to the successful completion of the exam, Brane is much calmer. Ana is surprised by an unannounced visitor in her studio apartment...

Ana stops in fright, as if she were crashing into a wall. Vasya, on the other hand, is relaxed, as if nothing had happened, and begins to talk to her calmly. Brane is again preparing for the new exams that he has yet to pass in college. Katja would like them to have more time for themselves as it already seemed to be after the last exam he did. Ana is increasingly desperate, fearing that her family will never accept her as their own, and Jaka unsuccessfully comforts her. Penzl is a complete stranger to how the company operates, which presents quite a few problems for Pia, who wants to help him as much as possible in all his business.

Gaber receives a mysterious invitation to a meeting at Lojz's bar, where he is surprised by his mother's sister, aunt Angela. Pia extracts from Mirza a confession as to why he's been so unbearable these days. Mirza came up with a key part of his book that he first wanted to avoid, but now he realized he couldn't do it. Pia hoped that with her acquaintances she would be able to help Penzl expand the business, but she soon realizes that all of her former clients have turned their backs on her. Nika finds Gaber rummaging through documents and looking for her passport. She is shocked when he tells her where he is going...

Katja meets Nuša's mother, and their meeting is anything but pleasant at first. Desperate, Nika and Maria realize that Gaber is serious about moving in with Ami, who aunt Angela has told him is not his half-sister at all. Ana manages to get information about the operations of Jake a's company. Angry, she walks up to Jaka and tells him that they will have to focus more on business as his business is failing while he wanders around the bars and feels good. Nika has been hurt by Gaber's departure more than she's willing to admit...

Ana convinces the official to spread rumors around the company that Jaka's health is poor and that the company will only get out of bankruptcy if she takes over the management. Nika finds out she's pregnant. She reacts hysterically and insultingly to Maria's reassuring exhortation. Brane reads mad with excitement and repentance. He is hyperactively trying to please Katja in every little detail. Slowly, Katja also gets caught up in his enthusiasm. Brane is grateful to her for making a deal with Nuša's mother. Pia uses all her charms and convinces a good client to hire Penzl for their marketing campaign. Jaka, reuniting with a man he met at a bar, has a terrifying experience, while Ana increasingly takes over the management of his business...

Nika tells Bojan about her pregnancy and her problems. She explains that for first-time pregnant women, the start of pregnancy can be uncomfortable many times. But most of all, he's interested in whether she's told her father and the others. Piksi doesn't give in to Penzl either. Jumping into bed with Pia was unethical and disapproving of him. Penzl makes excuses that you can't control some things and asks her to be discreet. As his new acquaintance shocks again...

Damian apologizes to Maria incredibly warmly for her behavior, and she accepts the apology. She also made many mistakes herself. Nika is desperate at the fact that Penzl will be gone for a few days. She arouses sympathy for Pia, but Nika refuses her help. Pia hints to her that she may have to have an abortion, as Penzl is a very immature person. Nuša's mother reports Katja and Brane to the police, claiming that they kidnapped Nuša. Jaka becomes more and more entangled in the story of his mysterious ring...

Piksi finally musters up the courage to tell Nika that Penzl cheated on her, which Nika doesn't believe. She insists on telling with whom, but Piksi resists, but in the end he just says it was Pia. Anna lent Damian money so that he could visit his father, which completely upsets Maria and reproaches her for wanting to destroy her child. Nika inadvertently disrupts Jaka's cleansing ritual. In terror, she returns home, where Maria asks her what is wrong. Soon after, Jaka comes home and goes straight to Nika's room.
